Harry Redknapp hails Spurs character

Tottenham Hotspur boss Harry Redknapp was full of praise for his side after they came from behind to secure a hard-fought 2-1 victory at capital rivals Fulham.

Goals from Roman Pavlyuchenko and Tom Huddlestone earned the three points, with Spurs now standing in fifth place in the Premier League table.

Redknapp told the club's official website:"This is a difficult place to come, a very hard place to pick up a result, especially after going a goal down.

"Fulham have been in great form as well and they are difficult to beat. This is the third time this season we've come from behind and that doesn't happen often in the Premier League.

"That shows the character we've got, that we can go behind and still come back and win games.

"Overall I felt we deserved it. We played well, kept the ball well and just about edged it.

"We need to continue winning league games and try to get into the top four again. We have to look to have another great season in the league."Subscribe to Football FanCast News Headlines by Email
